MUA Colour Blast Eyeshadow Tint - Review/swatches

MUA - Colour Blast Eyeshadow Tint.

Hello Lovelies;

Today I have for you all a lovely little review of the MUA Colour Blast. Now, you may have heard about the Clinique Chubby Sticks for eyes - and this is a lot like them. I've got Stay (the top swatch), and Girl like me (bottom swatch). They're both natural colours, which are my favourite. Stay is much like the Chubby Stick in 01 (bountiful beige) - and Girl like me is like 02 (lots of latte). You get 12m in each product. They're perfect for travel, and would make a good stocking filler.

Much like the Chubby Sticks, this is a stick eyeshadow that you twist up to get more product. It lasts around 5 hours, and it's perfect to pop in your back and use to transform a day to night eye look. These aren't as creamy as the Clinique versions, but they last just as long and don't crease at all. You can only pick these up for £3, and only on the Superdrug website as far as I know. They're a lot cheaper compared to the £16 Chubby Sticks.

The middle swatch is 02 Lots of Latte - As you can see it's a bit more brownie taupe than Girl Like Me. Image from Jessica French

This is the Clinique Chubby Stick in 01 - bountiful beige. There isn't much difference again between this and Stay - Stay is a bit more golden where bountiful beige is more beige toned and not really golden. Picture from Make Up the Midwest

As you can tell from the different swatches, the Chubby sticks are a lot more pigmented and creamy, but the Colour Blast Tints are a great alternative if you don't have the money to splash so much on an eyeshadow. They'd be perfect Christmas gifts for those who are just starting out in make up as they're so cheap, and if you go for the more natural shades you can still wear them for school, or maybe special occasions.
