Budget August Make-Up;

Friday 13 September 2013

Changing your make up bag to accommodate the seasons doesn't have to be expensive. There's a lot of brands like Sleek and Rimmel that have gorgeous shades that are perfect for A/W.

On the lips plums and dark cherry colours are great, and Sleek's Pout Polish in Perfect Plum is just perfect for A/W. Coming in at £4.99 it won't break the bank, and it's hydrating on the lips as well as being very pigmented. I've been wearing this everyday this week, and been wearing it over my Korres Lip Butter in Plum. It's a lot more pigmented than the lip butter, and it's longer lasting.

Metallic smoky eyes are big this month, and  Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Paint in Rich Russet is just what every girl needs. This is a great budget eye paint to use. Metallic smoky eye are in, and this is a lovely shade to use to make a brown smokey eye. They have lots of different shades - grey, blue, purple, brown and silver so you've got no excuse to not rock the smokiness this season. These eye paints don't crease, budge and create the perfect wash of colour for an everyday look, or pack on the colour for more of an impact. You can also buy this in an eye stick form!

I love a bit of orange of my cheekies, and this burnt orange blush is lovely for the season. Sleeks Single Blush in Suede is just gorgeous, and has been my go-to blush (along with NYX Spice blush). Once again, it's so pigmented just like all Sleek products. Everyone loves sleek blushes, and they have a great range of colours to suit everyone. They're bringing out an A/W blush palette (their blush by three) which normally rolls in for around £10, so it's great value for money if you don't mind spending a bit more.

I love A/W winter make up as it's a perfect combination on my pale skin tone.

What make-up do you like to wear in A/W?
