Beauty Nostalgic - Montagne Jeunesse Masques;

Monday 6 April 2015

Hello Lovelies;

I remember using Montagne Jeunesse Masques since I started high school. We used to go into town, pick some up with a DVD and snacks ready for a girly night and these. These suit a range of skin types so no one will be left out! Montagne Jeunesse started out in the 1980's and have come so far since. They are very eco friendly and I think it's a brilliant ethos to have and spread to all their consumers.

Today I'm going to bring you a classic White Chocolate Ultra Deep Cleansing masque* and their Aloe Vera Face Spa - Soothing and Cleansing Fabric Facial* which filled me with excitment as they're a lot easier to use than traditional masques. Both of these masques are suited to my dry and sensitive skin type. All these masques are so affordable and are are effective as their highness competitors and range from £1.

I'm going to start with the masque I've used since my teenypob days - The White Chocolate Masque priced at £1 - Firstly, this smells amazing, just like chocolate..Please don't be tempted to eat it. This is a thick masque that you apply all over your face avoiding your eyes and mouth, leave for 15-20 before rinsing off. This masque leaves you with such soft glowing skin - it hasn't irritated my skin at all which is something I always worry about. This has 17g of product which can last 1 - applications depending on how much you apply. This product doesn't contain any gluten, dairy and is paraben free. This masque would be perfect for teens - adults, especially chocolate lovers! I've already stocked up on more and they're being added into my weekly paper routine.

What do they say about the White Chocolate Masque..."Deep cleanse your skin with our White Chocolate face masque as part of your regime for a radiant, glowing complexion. Smells so yum please don't be tempted to eat! Allow the Cocoa Butter, rich Cream and moisturising Jojoba to leave your skin deep cleansed & as smooth as the softest cream."

I've only started using sheet masques this year, and the Aloe Vera Fabric Facial is definitely one of the best I've tried. This isn't as messy as a traditional masque as you just apply the sheet to your face for 5-10 minutes for a quick beauty fix. Each sachet contains 1 sheet and they're priced at £1.29. The result of the masque was very relaxing, non irritating or dying at all. Once again, it left my skin glowing, very hydrated and soft. My only con would be the size of the sheet masque, they do one size for all which is brilliant as you can cut the sheet to fit your size face which is what I did. Once I cut it, it felt very comfortable on. They are a great alternative as you don't get lots of product on your fingers. Once you've removed the masque, you massage your face and rinse to complete the facial.

The masque is gluten free, nut derivative free and no parabens - What do they said about the Allow Vera Facial...."Is your skin in need of a quick boost? Burst to life with our refreshing blend of juiced Aloe Vera and invigorating fresh picked Green Tea. The ultimate pick me up leaving your skin soothed and cleansed."

Using these masques again have brought back so much nostalgia for me - my other half had a great time testing the masques with me. They aren't just for ladies and they also do a range of products for
your hair, body and face!

  5. I have also used MJ masks since I was a lot younger and did do up until last year when I discovered the Korean sheet masks, which generally I prefer. MJ will always be there though and much easier to get hold of!! Cxx
